About Me

I am the high school technology teacher and web master at Paradise High School in Paradise, Texas. This little town is northwest of Fort Worth and the school is a 2A school. I have also taught at Collinsville High School in Collinsville, Texas. I managed various clothing stores before I made the move into teaching. Becoming a teacher was a good move and I thank God that it happened.

My interests include Texas Rangers baseball, mountain biking, yard work, and oldies music.

I have no children. I do have one lazy dog that is currently passed out on the couch right now.

I'm a 1977 graduate of Leonard High School in Leonard, Texas, and a 1983 graduate of East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. My alma mater has been swallowed up by the Texas A & M system, but please don't call me an aggie.

I am a big fan of oldies music, and for 18 years I played keys for The Blandelles, an oldies band out of Greenville. I am now hoping to catch on with a different band now if the situation is right.

I have an odd mixture of musical instruments sitting around the house, including 7 keyboards, 2 guitars, a bass guitar, a tenor saxophone, 11 harmonicas, and a fiddle, and all are cheap. I can halfway play all of them but the fiddle, but I'm not very good at any of them and never will be.
