About Me
I am the Director of Technology at Lindsay ISD in Lindsay, Texas. This neat little town is up by Gainesville and the school is in the 2A classification with around 500 kids in grades K-12. This is my 30th year in education, my 10th in technology, and my 4th at Lindsay. I have put in enough time to retire but I'm enjoying myself too much for that.
Before I became a teacher, I managed various clothing stores. Getting into education was a good move and I thank God that it happened.
Current interests include photography, bicycling, and oldies music.
I'm a 1977 graduate of Leonard High School in Leonard, Texas, and a 1983 graduate of East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. My alma mater has experienced a name change since I graduated but I don't acknowledge it. It's still ET to me.
Oldies music is a big part of my life, and for 18 years I played keys for The Blandelles, an oldies band out of Greenville.
There is an odd mixture of musical instruments sitting around the house, including 5 keyboards, 3 guitars, a tenor saxophone, and 11 harmonicas. I can halfway play all of them but I'm not very good at any of them and never will be.
